Water Treatment

We offer custom water treatment solutions to address your well’s specific requirements.

Since water quality cannot be determined before drilling a well, it is sometimes convenient or necessary to treat well water. Minerals, which occur naturally in groundwater, can sometimes be inconvenient to modern day life. In most cases, a water test is required in order to determine which minerals or bacteria are causing problems. Testing is done through the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus in Truro (formally known as Nova Scotia Agricultural College). With test results, we can determine which treatment is best suited for your water quality and your needs.

Additional water treatment options available include:

  • UV light
  • Filters
  • Iron/ Manganese Removers
  • Water Softeners
  • Reverse Osmosis Systems
  • Well Chlorination
  • And More…

Well Drilling

The amount of water accessed through a drilled well depends on the type of bedrock, material composition of overburden, well depth, and/or number of water bearing fractures encountered during the drilling process.

Geothermal

Geothermal energy is a renewable and efficient energy source. Geothermal Energy relies on the Earth’s core, which is comprised of hot, molten materials and offers unlimited energy potential.

Pump & Well

A pump is required to force the ground water from the well into the home. We sell, service and install various sizes of pumps and tanks to meet residential and commercial needs.
